US Open Kicks Off Tomorrow

Where have I been the past 2 months? Don't worry about it.
What you should care about is the US Open, which starts tomorrow at 11 am. Only two NSEFTPC Angels are in action tomorrow, which is a good thing. Why? I'll get to that in a second. One of those two, however, is the newest Angel, Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic. The 5th-seeded Wimbledon champion goes second on Armstrong Stadium against Alexandra Dulgheru of Romania. The other Angel tomorrow is Kateryna Bondarenko, who takes on Lucie Hradecka third on Court 9.
I'll be doing my usual Labor Day weekend swing up to New York, for the 6th year in a row. Therefore, the possibility exists that I will get to see some of my favorite girls in action. I was saying it's a good thing that Tuesday is the starting point for many of the Angels, including Jelena Jankovic, Daniela Hantuchova, Alona Bondarenko, Elena Vesnina, Caroline Wozniacki, Sorana Cirstea, and of course Victoria Azarenka, who begins her debut Grand Slam as my queen. Anyway, it's good because those seven names I mentioned will only have to win two matches for me to see them, while Kvitova and Kateryna will have to win three, as I'm going on Saturday and Sunday as always. If I don't see any of these ladies, it will be a failure. A complete failure. There's always doubles, I guess, but it's not quite the same.
There's a men's tournament too, and notable names playing tomorrow include Roger Federer, Mardy Fish, and Gael Monfils, as well as my favorite Philipp Kohlschreiber. Here's a look at all the matches I give a damn about tomorrow.

Cabaret Matches:
[5]Petra Kvitova (CZE)
vs. Alexandra Dulgheru (ROU)-2nd match on Armstrong Stadium
Kateryna Bondarenko (UKR) vs. Lucie Hradecka (CZE)-3rd match on Court 9

Other Matches I Care About:
[3]Roger Federer (SUI) vs. Santiago Giraldo (COL)-2nd match on Ashe Stadium night session
[8]Mardy Fish (USA) vs. Tobias Kamke (GER)-1st match on Ashe Stadium day session
Philipp Kohlschreiber (GER) vs. [23]Radek Stepanek (CZE)-3rd match on Court 11
